Quality Suites John Wayne Airport

A clean no thrills hotel. Very average, but clean.

Overall this hotel was good. It exceeded my expectations for this level of hotel in regards to rooms and grounds, I liked that all rooms were suites, it gives a home feel. The only down falls were two-fold. One, I had to switch rooms; I was told by the maintenance person that the front desk would call when the other room was ready, I had to call. Second was the cleaning person through out my breakfast voucher and some utensils for food I wanted to eat later. I had to get another voucher, and I ended up leaving the food behind. I would stay there again, but I would not be so passive if the problems occurred the next time. They have a guarantee if your problem is not solved in a timely manner, your room will be comped. The hot made to order breakfast was definitely a plus. The staff was friendly and the room was exceptional.

If family friendly means children running through hallways, loud teens in the pool area after 11:00pm, and a casual attitude about needs of guests without children, I won't go back there. The room itself and the experience other than that were very pleasant, but things were dusty, like the TV, alarm clock, and seldom used places. This a great place to stay with kids when the emphasis is to get out seeing local attractions. It is located near the airport and the major freeways so that travel north to Anaheim and Los Angeles and south to Carlsbad and San Diego was easy. Breakfast was plentiful and served early enough to accommodate our excursion schedules. The outdoor pool was a great bonus and the grounds very attractive and inviting. This hotel is close to john wayne airport so if you don't like airplanes, you might not want to stay there.
I was not able to hear the planes in my room, but was able to view them coming in for a landing from my balcony, which
I totally enjoyed.

In a clean, safe area surrounded by other suite hotels, close to the 55 and 405 freeways, yet quiet. Large rooms kept clean and neat. Not showy, but a good functional hotel at a reasonable price.

Accommodations were fine and the hotel service was good and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was clean and very spacious. The pool and common areas were very well kept. Although it is located on hotel terrace along with several other hotels, it is not really convenient to anything. I would suggest anyone staying at this hotel rent a vehicle because you will be traveling at least 5 miles to get to anything. Public transportation stops after 6:00 and I found myself stranded going on an unexpected 5 mile walk.
